The telecommunications company, MTN South Africa has officially started rolling out three new prepaid bundles with large data allocations at much more affordable price points.

The company mentioned that the new price plan for the Super Data is a result of overwhelming customer demand for bigger data bundles.

“The Super Data bundle price plans offer rich data volumes ranging from 30GB to 200GB at an affordable price — meeting the needs of prepaid and residential customers who are heavy data users,” MTN said.

The general manager for the MTN prepaid segment, Seun Soladoye, mentioned that the benefits of contractual data volumes with the flexibility of prepaid.

Availability is only exclusive to the Super Data prepaid price plan, and in order for customers to migrate to this option, they can use MTN’s USSD service or the MTN mobile app. There is no charge for switching to the plan.
