You could be a National Lottery winner, and not know it. More than R13.2-million in a Lotto prize remains unclaimed. The winning ticket is now nearing its expiry date. Prompting an urgent call to National Lottery players to check their old tickets.  To come forward if they hold the winning ticket and claim their prize.

The winning Lotto ticket was purchased at Bluebell Supermarket and Wholesalers in Carletonville, Gauteng, for Lotto draw 2590 on 1 November 2025.

Sizekhaya urges players to check their tickets because the expiry date is imminent. All unclaimed prizes are paid to the National Lottery Distribution Trust Fund (NLDTF) for the various good causes across South Africa. If it’s not claimed, the R13.2-million will go this way, too.

Sizekhaya is urging players who purchased Lotto tickets at the Carletonville retailer around the time of the draw to check their tickets immediately. Players are also encouraged to search through old wallets, handbags, drawers and other places where tickets may have been kept.

“This is a significant prize, and we do not want the rightful winner to miss out on a life-changing opportunity,” says Whitney Mafatle, Winner Service Manager at Sizekhaya Holdings. “We urge everyone who purchased a Lotto ticket at Bluebell Supermarket and Wholesalers around 1 November 2025 to check their tickets. It could be worth more than R13 million.”

The R13.2 million prize is among several National Lottery prizes that remain unclaimed across the country. Other unclaimed prizes include:
