ASK Tech Ventures Launches ODIGO CMS for African Field Operations

Technology company ASK Tech Ventures has launched ODIGO CMS in Africa, introducing a platform designed to help businesses manage sales teams, field agents, promoters, merchandisers and other distributed workers from a single system.

Developed by TalentBridge Technologies, ODIGO CMS combines workforce planning, field activity tracking, evidence collection and reporting. The platform is aimed at businesses operating across multiple locations that need a central view of what teams are doing on the ground.

ODIGO is being introduced in Africa through a partnership between ASK Tech Ventures and TalentBridge, with an initial focus on companies that rely heavily on field operations.

One platform for teams in the field

Businesses can use ODIGO CMS to plan assignments, manage teams, record field activities and produce reports from one platform.

Its applications include sales and distribution, retail execution, brand activations, merchandising, field research and audits. Managers can track where activities are taking place, when they happen and whether teams have completed tasks according to defined requirements.

“As businesses scale, the distance between the person making the decision and the person executing it becomes a real management challenge,” said Vikas Mehta, Founder and CEO of ASK Tech Ventures.

Mehta said the company is bringing ODIGO to Africa to give businesses greater visibility over field operations and reduce reliance on fragmented reports.

The system also allows businesses to collect evidence from field activities, giving managers information they can use to assess execution and make operational decisions.

TalentBridge takes ODIGO into Africa

TalentBridge Technologies developed ODIGO CMS and has already deployed the platform in South and Southeast Asian markets.

The African expansion gives the company a new market for its field-management technology, with ASK Tech Ventures working alongside TalentBridge to introduce the platform to businesses and local partners.

“TalentBridge is committed to taking ODIGO beyond the markets where it was first developed and building a truly global platform,” said Gaurav Shukla, Founder of TalentBridge Technologies.

Shukla said the two companies had worked on adapting the platform for African markets and see the continent as the next stage in its expansion.

Targeting businesses operating across markets

The rollout comes as more African companies operate across multiple cities and countries, increasing the need to coordinate teams outside central offices.

Rather than relying on separate updates from sales teams, promoters, contractors or field agents, ODIGO CMS is designed to bring those activities into one system.

ASK Tech Ventures and TalentBridge plan to work with local businesses and partners as they expand the platform into different African markets, with a focus on organisations that have significant field operations.
