Mr Price launches container store for their township customers

Clothing and home accessories group, Mr Price has taken it upon themselves to become more accessible to their customers. The group launched its first container store in Illovo town in Ethekwini, KwaZulu-Natal.

By so doing, Mr Price will gain greater access to the growing township economy. According to Matthew Warriner, Mr Price’s head of corporate communications, this will save their township customers time and money. It also means more employment opportunities for people in those communities.

The container, has the same catalogue as all other Mr Price stores. The store stocks a combination of ladies, men’s and kids merchandise and has the same fashion assortment found at its other stores of a similar size.

The store has joined other major stores like Shoprite’s USave, which also launched container shops around various townships three years ago.
