Black Friday has become one of the most important shopping days in South Africa, with a growing number of local retailers offering reduced prices on a variety of products.

Black Friday is set to fall on November 25, 2022, with a number of shops and retailers returning to the old format of one-day deals after previously extending specials to account for more controlled foot traffic during the Covid-19 pandemic.

As in previous years, all major brands, as well as smaller groups, are participating in the sales rush, hoping to capitalise on shoppers’ eagerness to spend.

On ‘Cyber Monday,’ which will take place on November 28, 2022, online retailers are also expected to offer a variety of specials.

The stores listed below have confirmed that they will be offering Black Friday deals this year. More stores are likely to open in the coming weeks as we approach Black Friday.
