Sasol restarts Nasref Refinery after Shutdown last month
Sasol has restated its Nasref refinery after it had to shutdown sue to a delay in oil delivery last month.
This turmoil prompted Sasol to declare force majeure on petroleum products, which is still in force.
The shutdown also meant the entire South African refinery fleet was out of action as many other plants ceased production over the past two years.
The company has stated that the plant is now operating and will ramp up production.
Sasol said that its crude oil supply at Secunda’s Natref refinery have partially recovered and are expected to reach full production by the end of this month.
