In a significant move, the trusted name in online ecommerce payments, Payfast has undergone a transformation to become ‘Payfast by Network,’ aligning itself with Network International’s extensive suite of payment solutions while preserving the renowned Payfast experience.

David Adams, the Southern Africa Regional Managing Director at Network International, affirms: “Our partners, merchants, and consumers can anticipate the same unparalleled payment experience with the ‘Payfast by Network’ ecommerce solution. Since its inception in 2007, Payfast has been the go-to provider of swift and secure ecommerce payment solutions in South Africa. Following its acquisition by Network International in 2021, Payfast has been integrated into the Network International brand, heralding a new era of digital payment solutions in the region.
