In a recent announcement, Kenya Power has disclosed that they are going to start selling high-speed internet to businesses in an attempt to expand and diversify its revenue streams and manage the data usage in the country.

“We will provide our corporate sector customers with a bundled service of electricity and internet.”

With their entry into the Nigerian Internet Market, Kenya Power’s main competition will include Safaricom, Jamii Telecoms, and Wananchi Group (Zuku).

It has been further reported that Kenya power intends to sell internet directly to homes, especially in rural areas.
