Dimension Data’s Zellah Fuphe promoted to a top global role within NTT

Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation Ltd. (NTT) has made changes in its team by promoting Zellah Fuphe from her role at Dimension Data to global Chief Risk and Sustainability Officer. 
 
Dimension Data announced Fuphe’s promotion in a statement on Wednesday and CEO Alan Turnley-Jones has expressed excitement about Fuphe’s new role. 
 
In a statement, the systems integrator says Fuphe previously held the role of chief corporate governance officer at Dimension Data Middle East and Africa (MEA). 
 
“I am particularly delighted with Zellah’s promotion which will allow her to build on an established track record, with the great work that has been done in the MEA region,” said Turnley-Jones. 
 
“In addition to leading sustainability globally, the risk part of Zellah’s new role will include the areas of data privacy, insurance, risk management, integrity, and risk management operations.” 
 
The company, Dimension Data, was acquired by Japan-based NTT in July 2010 for a substantial fee of $3.2 billion. 
 
In October of that year, NTT announced the systems integrator would be delisted from both the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange by the end of the year. 
 
Headquartered in London in the United Kingdom, NTT Ltd said Fuphe would fulfill her role in South Africa and will not have to relocate. 
 
The company also announced in 2018 that it would transfer Dimension Data into a new holding company under its brand. 
 
The re-organisation was completed in 2019, with Dimension Data operating as a brand within the global NTT Ltd group.
