Primary Responsibilities: • Managing complex client engagements, software delivery portfolios, and multi-disciplinary teams. • Understand client environments and future business needs and how the organisation’s offerings could address those requirements. • Identifying leads and opportunities within existing client environments (relationship-driven growth within existing clients). • Lead engagement with General Manager and/or Account Manager regarding potential leads. • Own and manage relationships with nominated client individuals to drive engagement expansion within accounts. • Assist Business Development in external environments through discipline-specific pre-sales activities. • Recommend ideal client engagement models aligned to quality, control and team culture. • During project delivery, provide oversight and quality governance across engagements, including risk management, issue resolution, and client expectation management aligned to QA and governance processes. • Provide input into Digital Consulting strategy. • Ensure alignment and strong collaboration with Shared Services (HR, Finance, Business Development, and General Management) to drive discipline performance. • Scale and mature discipline offerings and competency frameworks to ensure sustainable capability growth. • Develop and maintain discipline capability, skills, and career pathways aligned to competency models. • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and represent the discipline externally in the industry. • Financial, Pipeline & Operational Accountability • Own and deliver against assigned annual sales, Discipline revenue, and gross profit targets • Define and own Headcount & Skills plan. • Responsible for Discipline pipeline and resource allocation. • Track performance across key levers including headcount, utilisation, GP, pipeline, and other commercial metrics. Required Qualifications • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field • ±10 years of professional software development experience (enterprise environments) • Experience in delivering multiple successful projects in client-facing environments. • Proven experience leading enterprise software engineering teams and large-scale delivery. • Strong background in software architecture, cloud technologies, DevOps, modern engineering practices, and delivery governance. • Experience in business development, pre-sales, client relationship management, workforce planning, and recruitment. • Leading through influence rather than authority. Technical Skills • Strong experience building enterprise applications using .NET (.NET Core / .NET Framework, C#) • Solid experience with Web APIs and RESTful services • Hands on experience with modern front end frameworks (Angular, React, Blazor; mobile variants a plus) • Strong understanding of clean code, design patterns, SOLID principles, and TDD / unit testing • Experience with SQL Server and T SQL • Exposure to Azure DevOps, cloud platforms (Azure), CI/CD, and containerisation is a strong advantage • Contribute across the full software development lifecycle • Design and deliver clean, secure, scalable, and testable solutions • Lead and mentor developers to deliver quality outcomes efficiently • Collaborate closely with architects, analysts, and clients • Drive continuous improvement in tools, patterns, and ways of working • Shape technical decisions aligned to client and business needs Tech Stack & Practices: • .NET enterprise architectures • Clean Architecture, Domain Driven Design • Secure SDLC & OWASP principles • API patterns, microservices, OpenAPI / Swagger • Front end best practices (web & mobile trade offs) • Authentication & Authorisation (OAuth2, JWT, Azure AD / Identity Providers)Azure, IIS, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps (experience levels may vary) You’ll work on meaningful, complex projects, with talented people who value collaboration, growth, and engineering excellence.
