As the cost of living continues to go high and hit many people, the Nissan Magnite is just a perfect option when buying a car.

The rise in fuel and food prices means consumers will have to resort to buying a car that offers multi-use capacity.

Looking at the Nissan magnate, reviewers say the car offers the ability to handle fuel consumption well within the traffic in town, the open road driving and well, it must be a mom’s tax, when you have a small family, par excellence.

The Magnlte offers the aforementioned and more and because it comes as a sub-compact, it offers space, 74kW of power, and is available with either a manual or a CVT gearbox.

“The Magnite’s three-cylinder engine is as frugal as it is powerful, with average fuel consumption of only 5.2l/100km on the manual transmission and 6.0l/100km on CVT gearbox,” reports the Southland Sun.

“With intuitive systems like ABS, EBD, traction control, and Nissan’s vehicle dynamic control (VDC), standard across the range, the Magnite is well-equipped to handle changing road surfaces and sudden changes in direction.

“Another standard safety feature is Nissan’s intelligent hill start assist control which keeps the vehicle steady on an incline, preventing disaster on the slip of the clutch. For those open roads, the Nissan Magnite lets drivers take their foot off the pedal, with cruise control coupled with an adjustable speed limiter function coming standard across the range.”

In its cockpit, the SUV brings Nissan’s 8-inch touch-operated infotainment system being the mantelpiece of the slick interior.

It also boasts seamless connectivity through wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto – and the carmaker’s state-of-the-art integrated audio, navigation, and communication system – puts the heart and soul of the Magnite at the driver’s fingertips.

To top it all, the boot space measures 336 litres making the car well suited to the bustling Johannesburg city centre as to the twisty side roads of the Cape Winelands.
