GrowthLabs Partners With Amenli to Offer Digital Insurance for Startups

GrowthLabs, a company building infrastructure for entrepreneurship ecosystems, has partnered with Amenli, Egypt’s first licensed digital insurance broker, to offer insurance services tailored to early-stage startups.

The partnership brings insurance options directly onto the GrowthLabs platform, allowing founders and their teams to explore, compare and purchase coverage digitally. GrowthLabs said the service is designed to provide a faster alternative to traditional insurance processes that can take weeks.

Insurance Services Added to GrowthLabs Platform

Under the partnership, Amenli will serve as the exclusive insurance partner for the GrowthLabs ecosystem and its startup community.

Founders will be able to browse available policies, compare coverage, select an option and complete their purchase through the platform. The digital process is intended to reduce paperwork and the administrative work associated with obtaining insurance.

Coverage for Early-Stage Companies

The insurance offering has been designed around the needs of startups, their employees and founding teams as they move through the early stages of growth.

GrowthLabs users can complete the insurance process online, from reviewing available options through to purchasing a policy, without relying on lengthy offline procedures.

Amenli’s digital infrastructure is designed to issue policies within minutes, compared with the longer processing times associated with traditional insurance channels.

GrowthLabs and Amenli on the Partnership

Islam Orban, Manager at GrowthLabs, said founders should be able to focus their time on building their companies rather than dealing with lengthy insurance processes.

Amenli’s chief executive said the partnership would allow the insurer to reach startups through the platforms they already use while providing insurance services at a pace suited to early-stage businesses. Amenli operates as a fully digital insurance broker and is licensed by Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority.

GrowthLabs Expands Startup Services

GrowthLabs supports entrepreneurship ecosystems across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Africa. Its products include Catalyst OS, a programme management platform used by accelerators, incubators and innovation programmes, as well as Startup Gate, a marketplace connecting startups with investors, mentors and service providers.

Adding insurance to the platform expands the range of business services available to startups through the GrowthLabs ecosystem.

Amenli’s Digital Insurance Business

Founded in 2020, Amenli provides insurance products for individuals, families and businesses through a digital platform. The company describes itself as Egypt’s first licensed digital insurance broker. In 2025, Amenli was also the only African company included in CB Insights’ global list of the top 50 insurtech companies.

Insurance services are now available to entrepreneurs through their existing GrowthLabs accounts, giving startups another business service that can be accessed directly through the platform.
