The Land and Agricultural Development Bank (Land Bank) will participate in the annual Grain SA’s NAMPO Harvest Day from 14 to 17 May. This prominent event, one of the largest privately-owned agricultural exhibitions in the southern hemisphere, is held just outside Bothaville in the Free State.

This year’s theme, “Embracing connectivity for sustainable growth,” will spotlight how South African farmers are leveraging digital solutions to address traditional challenges and advance their operations in the digital era.

Land Bank views NAMPO as an essential platform for agricultural stakeholders to engage, offering a unique environment where producers can interact and conduct business with both small and large enterprises, as well as other relevant industry players.

Land Bank’s involvement at NAMPO will encompass various themes, with the Bank hosting a series of engaging discussions over three days:

  • Tuesday, 14 May 2024, 13:00-14:00 at Villa Sering guest house, Bothaville: “Land Bank’s Blended Finance Blueprint for the Next Crop of Farmers.”
  • Wednesday, 15 May 2024, 14:20-15:00 at RMIS Nampo Cinema, Livestock Auction Building, Nampo Park: “Forging a New Future: Minister Thoko Didiza and Land Bank CEO Unveil Strategic Vision.”
  • Thursday, 16 May 2024, 13:00-14:00 at Villa Sering guest house, Bothaville: “Ensuring Agricultural Resilience: Exploring the Vital Role of Land Bank Insurance Company.”
