With a background in Actuarial Science, Financial Mathematics, and Financial Engineering, Badenhorst previously spent 11 years at Vodacom. Starting as a senior finance decision support specialist, he later served as a direct marketing commercial manager for Vodacom Business Africa before being appointed as the executive head for customer value management.
Badenhorst played a pivotal role in establishing the analytical and business reporting environment as a senior credit risk manager at Bridge Loans early in his career. Notably, he led the development of the successful Vodacom Just 4 You bundle personalization platform, contributing significantly to revenue growth.
His achievements at Vodacom include creating platforms such as the VodaBucks rewards program, enhancing revenue and customer engagement. His expertise in quantitative analysis and financial engineering is seen as crucial in navigating the dynamic telecommunications landscape.
