Roborock, the Chinese consumer goods company known for its robotic sweeping and mopping devices and handheld cordless stick vacuums, recently launched the upgraded P20 Pro robot vacuum that comes in two models that are available for pre-order.
The P20 Pro comes with 18,500Pa of suction power which is a significant increase to the 10,000Pa of the previous model, and is said to deliver 100% hair suction rates because of its anti-tangle double roller brush and side brush.
The model comes with a FlexiArm that assists the robot to clean the corners around the room with a mop rotation rate of 200 rotations per minute. Both the brush and mop lift when any carpet is detected.
The P20 Pro is equipped with the AdaptiLift Chassis that allows the P20 to climb over obstacles of up to 4 cm (1.6-inches) tall, which is the first in the industry. The Self Cleaning 2.0 docking station allows free hand cleaning with 75-degree Celsius hot water mop washing with a built-in scraper and a 45-degree Celsius hot air drying capability.
The P20 Pro can be controlled through the Roborock app or voice commands with curtsey from RRmind GPT. It comes with a 6,400 mAh battery and uses LDS navigating and Reactive AI obstacle avoidance to navigate the home.
The Roborock P20 Pro with a water tank, retails in China for 3,999 yuan (R9,956.23), while the P20 Pro Smart Water Drain Edition sells for 4,599 yuan (R11,450.13).
The Roborock P20 Pro vacuum and mop was given a sneak preview earlier on this month and the launch of the new robotic vacuum in the country is planned for the 15th of September.
