The payment service Apple Pay has is now available for non-Safari browsers such as Google Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge. This is after it previously only worked on Safari.
Steve Moser shared a tweet suggesting Apple Pay is working with Edge and Chrome in the iOS 16 beta update.
He shared screenshots showing a “Continue with Apple Pay” option when checking out on Apple’s website using Edge.
Previously, you could not use third party websites such as Edge and chrome to use Apple pay but it will be available on iOS 16 Beta update.
Apply is yet to announce the date for the iOS 16 official launch but it is also said that it may be expected to launch when the iPhone 14 launches.
