HONOR has announced the official launch of the HONOR 400 Lite in South Africa, marking a significant advancement in the brand’s smart photography portfolio. This new device builds on the strong market performance of its predecessor, the HONOR 200 Lite, which led South Africa’s post-paid smartphone market across all price segments in July 2024.
The HONOR 400 Lite introduces several key innovations, most notably the debut of a dedicated AI Camera Button—the first of its kind on an Android smartphone. This feature enables users to capture images and perform instant searches via Google Lens, even while wearing gloves. It also supports advanced AI-powered tools such as real-time translation, visual search, and editing functionalities like AI Eraser and Outpainting, powered by Google Gemini.
Designed to meet the needs of content creators, professionals, and everyday users alike, the HONOR 400 Lite combines style with performance. It features a high-resolution 108MP main camera, an ultra-bright AMOLED display, and is powered by MagicOS 9.0.
Additional highlights include up to 24GB of extended RAM, a robust 5,230mAh battery, and IP65-rated water and dust resistance. The device is available in two elegant finishes: Mars Green and Velvet Grey.
