A leaked photo of the iPhone SE 4 has gone viral on social media. Apple Inc. is expected to kick off the mass production of the iPhone SE 4 in October this year, but the official launch will not happen until 2025.
The iPhone SE 4 has new features that were meant for higher iPhone models. The SE 4 is said to have a camera upgrade of 48-megapixel rear sensor, which showcases a better enhanced photo quality and capabilities. Furthermore, the SE 4 will likely feature a new 6.1-inch OLED panel, which is like the iPhone 13, by providing colour to it.
An Action button, like those on the iPhone 15 Pro models, will also show an approach to quick actions and settings adjustments, enhancing usability and access. A 5G modem is expected, keeping Apple up to date with how the world operates in 2024 and 2025.
The SE 4 is expected to include Apple’s A16 Bionic processor, which was used on previous models. An important feature is the switch from Touch ID to Face ID, which was made possible by a notch design which marked the end of the SE series Home button era.
The SE 4 model is expected to have a similar design to the iPhone 14. The iPhone SE 4 is also set to have a larger memory and storage of 512GB with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The SE 4 model will have connectivity upgrades such as WIFI 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and a switch to a USB-C charging port, for faster data transfer and charging.
Apple leaker, Majin Bu suggests that these will come with broader colours, enhancing the visual appeal and the user’s choice to choose the device of their style. The current iPhone SE colours are Midnight, Starlight, and Product (Red).
All that remains is to see if Apple Inc. will release the iPhone SE 4 model by next year.
