Apple has introduced its faster, more powerful iPad Air, built with the latest M3 chip and built with Apple Intelligence integration.
iPad Air with M3 provides Apple’s advanced graphics architecture for the new iPad Air for the first time, with its power-efficient performance and portability improving the product to a new level.
The iPad Air is almost twice as fast as the iPad Air with M1, and up to 3.5x faster than iPad Air with A14 Bionic.The new M3 processor chip provides fast speed with the ability to create engaging content faster than ever or with playing demanding, graphics-intensive games.
Advanced Chip Performance
As far as the M3 chip goes, it’s an 8-core CPU that is split between 4 performance cores, 4 efficiency cores, a 9-core GPU with support hardware-accelerated ray tracing, and a 16-core Neural Engine. Apple has confirmed that the new iPad Air ships with 8GB of RAM out of the box, providing ample processing power for normal usage and for Apple Intelligence features.
Available in Two-Sizes
The unit is available in two sizes; The 11-inch iPad Air is the smaller more portable version while the 13-inch model provides a large display, suitable for more space, particularly for creators and content editors. The iPad Air M3 also comes in four different finishes.
The new Magic Keyboard enhances its versatility and delivers more capabilities. With iPadOS 18, supporting Apple Intelligence, advanced cameras, fast wireless 5G connectivity, and compatibility with Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C).
Pricing
The iPad Air M3 has a starting price of $599 for the 11-inch model and $799 for the 13-inch model.
Customers can pre-order the new iPad Air with M3 and Magic Keyboard for iPad Air starting today, with availability beginning Wednesday, March 12.
