Chechen Republic President, Ramzan Kadyrov has received a Tesla Cybertruck and has added a 12.7 mm machine gun to the back of the truck.
Kadyrov posted a video of himself driving the Cybertruck, as well as giving the vehicle high praises, showcasing its speed, agility, maneuverability, and the durability.
The Chechen leader revealed that the Cybertruck was a personal gift from Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla. He also said that “I literally fell in love with this car. Elon, thank you!” Kadyrov wrote on Telegram, adding that Musk is the “greatest genius of our time.” He also invited Musk to visit Chechnya as his “dearest guest.”
However, Tesla or Musk’s spokesperson have not confirmed Kadyrov’s claims about the gift, which raised questions about the authenticity of his statement. It has been said previously that Tesla and Musk don’t give people their electric vehicles (EVs) but require payment in full.
Kadyrov, who has been sanctioned by the U.S due to multiple alleged violations, mentioned his intention to provide the Cybertruck to Russian troops participating in the Ukraine invasion. He said that this is not just called a cyberbeast for no reason. I am confident that this creature will provide numerous advantages to our soldiers. Due its characteristics, the cybertruck will soon be sent to the North-East Military District zone where it will be in demand under appropriate conditions.
