The French startup founded a couple of years ago, Naboo, is revolutionizing the online experience for planning company seminars.
While appearing as a straightforward marketplace for attractive houses for corporate retreats, Naboo goes beyond mere listings. The platform offers an all-in-one solution for company seminars, collaborating with caterers nationwide, suggesting popular offsite meeting activities, and even facilitating transportation for large groups.
Different from traditional approaches, Naboo empowers customers to decide on their destination, catering to smaller segments and organizing more intimate seminars. The company streamlines the process of seminar planning, eliminating the need for team members to scour platforms like Airbnb or Booking.com.
The startup company displays all information transparently on its website, allowing customers to make informed decisions about pricing and availability. Co-founder and CEO Maxime Eduardo emphasized the shift towards team-level organization for seminars, enhancing team cohesiveness in the era of hybrid work.
The recent funding round, with participation from ISAI, Kima Ventures, Better Angle, Cap Horn, and Maif Avenir, has moved Naboo to collaborate with 2,500 locations and 500 partners, including caterers and activity providers. Naboo earns a 10 to 12% commission on homeowner bookings and a 6% commission on the client side, contributing to its significant monthly transaction volume.
