Tata Motor brand has made history a while back where they developed compressed air as fuel. They have recently revealed that they have a new fuel for their new Hyperion engine.
This is the next-gen TG Di petrol engine is all themed to launch with the Tat CURVV coupe-SUV, which is a breakthrough in powertrain evolution. The Hyperion is a 1.2-litre, a three-cylinder turbocharged engine that proves Tata is developing a progressive powertrain technology. The engine of this small power plant is a performer that has 125 of power at 5,000 rpm and a 225N.m of torque available at 1,700 to 3,500 rpm.
The new version comes with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that is upgraded with a 5hp and 55 N.m of torque and the increase of the power output is important for the CURVV because this coupe-SUV will likely be longer and is heavier than the rest of the Tata models.
Tata Motors has implemented technologies into the Hyperion engine for better performance, efficiency, and refinement.
Variable Valve Timing (VVT): This technology provides optimal and accurate management for the operation of the valves that enhances the generation of power while enhancing fuel economy across all rev ranges.
Variable Oil Pump: This feature allows the control of the oil pressure depending on the specific demand of the engine to improve the stoppage of parasitic loss, therefore increasing the efficiency.
Integrated Exhaust Manifold: The exhaust manifold is integrated with the cylinder head, which leads to the faster light off the catalyst and better thermal regulation.
Water-Cooled Variable Geometry Turbocharger: This encompasses a superior brand of turbocharging that increases low-end torque and throttle reaction, making the movement faster and smoother.
Many experts believe that it might be banned in more than 30 countries in the medium term.
