The new BMW M5 is a groundbreaking vehicle within the M5 series, with a combination of luxury, performance, and advanced technology in the automobile industry.
The latest model of the BMW M5 continues to make history by providing exciting driving experiences through precision engineering, performance upgrades, and exquisite design elements.
The M5 comes with the ability to power up through a hybrid powertrain. It consists of a twin-turbo 4.4 litres V8 engine with an electric motor and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The total speed produced is 717 horsepower, which is an increase of 100 horsepower compared to the previous M5’s natural aspirated V8 engine, while maintaining the standard all-wheel drive feature. BMW offers various driving models that change on how the vehicle uses its power source, including a mode for an all-wheel drive system that allows a rear-wheel-drive drift option.
Other features included in the BMW M5 are the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 18-speaker sound system, with four-zone climate control with heated and ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats as well as a heated steering wheel.
The BMW M5 is available in different colours such as Individual Frozen Cashmere Silver Metallic, Individual Frozen Dark Silver, Tanzanite Blue, Alvit Grey Metallic, Frozen Bluestone Metallic, Brands Hatch Grey Metallic, Motegi Red Metallic, Snapper Rocks, Blue Metallic, Individual Brilliant White Metallic, Individual Imola Red, Aventurine Red Metallic, Individual Frozen Brilliant White Metallic, Marina Bay Blue Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic, Alpine White, Individual Pure Metal Silver, Bluestone Metallic, Donington Grey Metallic, and Individual Frozen Marina Bay Blue Metallic.
The new BMW M5 will be on sale in November 2024 and will cost R2,690,000 which includes VAT and a Motor plan while excluding CO2 tax (carbon tax).
