The leading global technology provider and specialist distributor, Westcon-Comstor has announced that its Comstor division has secured distribution rights for Splunk Inc. across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). This move marks a significant expansion of Comstor’s relationship with both Splunk and Cisco, following Splunk’s recent acquisition by Cisco.
The new agreement strengthens Comstor’s position in the EMEA region by combining the strengths of two major industry leaders, Cisco and Splunk. With nearly three decades of experience in Cisco distribution, Comstor is poised to unlock new growth opportunities for channel partners by leveraging the combined portfolio of both companies.
As part of the deal, Comstor will offer comprehensive value-added services, including onboarding and scaling activities, to help partners effectively navigate and grow within the Cisco and Splunk ecosystems. Cisco partners in the EMEA region will have access to a dedicated Splunk portfolio, available on a subscription basis for select Cisco customers. This aligns with existing purchase and consumption models. Additionally, current Splunk partners will have the ability to deploy and sell a range of Cisco solutions, including AppDynamics and ThousandEyes.
This new agreement builds upon an established collaboration between Comstor and Splunk in the Asia-Pacific region, further extending the global reach of both companies.
