Ryan Noach who is the outgoing Discovery Health CEO will be taking over as the chief executive for the DNI Group from the 1st of March 2024.
Discovery made the announcement on the 12th of October that Noach has resigned, and that he would be leaving his role on the 31st of December 2023. The executive has been with Discovery for the past 15 years and has served as the Discovery Health CEO since 2020.
It is said that Noach is looking to pursue an entrepreneurial opportunity outside the healthcare and financial services sectors, but he will be however, a non-executive director on the Discovery Health Board from the 1st of January 2024.
Ronals Whelan who is currently the deputy CEO for Discovery Health, is the one that will be taking over from Noach as CEO.
DNI is an investment company focused on B2B distribution and technology services, and Noach is set to join the company as the CEO effective March next year.
DNI has generates almost R10 billion in revenue, employs over 1,000 people and operates in 29 countries. The company noted that Noach brings a wealth of experience and a stellar reputation to the company, “having served as a key leader at one of the largest and most successful corporations in the country in Discovery”.

The current CEO for DNI Andrew Dunn, will be transitioning into the role of Executive Chairman. He is also DNI’s co-founder and has been the CEO since 2018.
