The Information Regulator has given out a R5-million administrative fine on the department of justice & constitutional development. This punishment is said to be the first of its kind in South Africa and follows the justice department’s failure to comply with an enforcement notice issued on 9 May within the given 31-day period. Telkom’s Business online marketplace for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), Yep, has revealed that it now has infused artificial intelligence (AI) on its platform. This AI tool is set to accompany two new digital solutions to assist SMEs with reputation management and social marketing.
